I only wish for more of his heart in me and more ability to love through his eyes, you know? The brief moments when I'm there, in it, I am so aware it's not me. Thank you so much for your affirmation about my writing. These are pieces that are a joy to write.Amber Cadenashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16495600314886616325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7693390593188122891.post-49805982058426286572013-03-15T10:40:20.471-07:002013-03-15T10:40:20.471-07:00Amber, you broke my heart in half with this one. Seeing beyond behaviors and odors, to their stories and the essence of them and the lives they've lived as children of God and children and mothers and fathers, too. How I love your heart. Thank you, my dear, dear friend. And, by the way, the ways you told these moments, weaving in and out of time, with all the layers of detail -- this is so the best kind of Just Write piece. Your way is simply beautiful.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7693390593188122891.post-51572832308085404492013-03-13T19:52:22.503-07:002013-03-13T19:52:22.503-07:00Isn't that the truth, Emily? I love, so much, how God works such wonders through story, and how he always has, from the beginning. It's amazing, isn't it, to see people - into their hearts, even just a glimpse - and see his glory?
